“giving the people what they want”

Welcome to your home away from home

Jorge Antuna and Jesus Rivera are both from Durango, Mexico. They have been in the food industry for over 20 years. These years of experience were needed to make your dining experience the best it can be.

Jorge Antuna began his restaurant career in Los Angeles, California. He then moved his family to Santa Fe, where he worked for other local restaurants, before opening the Pecos Trail Cafe. His idea was to give the people a place to enjoy the food and time with their family and friends.

“You can come and enjoy your family and relax. That’s the main idea of what we’re doing … people are guests the first time, and then they become family.” - Jorge Antuna

Jesus Rivera began his career working in local restaurants in the area as well. The Rivera family is family oriented and wants to be able to create the same feeling at Pecos Trail Café for your family.

“It is important for us to give you a New Mexican cuisine experience with a hint of Mexican culture.” - Jesus Rivera
